Clayton Eshleman on Translating Cesar Vallejo
The current online issue of Rain Taxi has a talk by Clayton Eshleman about the effects translating Cesar Vallejo has had on his own thinking and on his poetry. It's worth reading both for his discussion of translation, and for the several poems embedded in the talk. Plus, Rain Taxi's website is kinda pretty.
